Buda and Pest

When I was in the Elementary School, my cousins gave me some of her dad's stamps collection and most of it are from Budapest. At that time, I don't even know what country it is and where it was (not really good in geography). Until one day, I went to Budapest - Hungary. Where they have the oldest buildings, bridge, and of course, the famous, hungarian beef goulash.

Bratislava Dreamer

I have never imagine I can go to Bratislava before. I also never know that it is such a beautiful country. Bratislava is the capital city of Slovakia. I visited the old town. A very quiet and not many people there. The women are beautiful, they wore high heels and walking in a suit, I guess that makes them slim. Their faces are like porcelain dolls. Pak Dion discovered a place to eat deep in the old town, a very good one. Living in a dream I am, never wanna wake up.

Vienna Waits for You

Vienna is number 2 the most liveable city in the world. I am lucky to be able to visit this laid back city. Not only love the city, but also the food and the beer. It was 7 C when I visited the city. Most of the people speaks German. I should probably starts to think to learn French or German, or both.

Eastern Beauty

Prague is such a beautiful city. Although I never been to Paree. They say that Prague is Paris in Eastern Europe. It is hard not to feel the romantic vibe. I was walking 4 KM with the crowd of people who really enjoy every inch of this city. Visiting Prague was my dream, I even hang a picture of Prague on my vision board. Now that it came true, makes me believe that everything is possible.

Spring is Here

Spring time is the most beautiful season in my opinion. It is the time when the world wake up again. Flowers are blooming, the grass is green again after the white winter covered them. To experience spring in Washington DC was just surreal. Someone says its like in Paris.

a Brand New Start - Again

After four years, I came back :) My life change as time goes by. Now I am married, with someone I believe has been chosen for me. Thanks God for saving me from all the dramas. Looking for LOVE is indeed tiring, so I don't wanna do it anymore. The reason why I start again is because Nicole Warne, from garypeppergirl.com . She inspires a lot of girls in this whole wide world, including me, to enjoy life, to capture every moment where ever you are, to wear anything suits you best without have to follow the trend. She has this beautiful Japs face and simple hair do. I never tired of looking at her blog. As for me, to be alive is such a grace. To live a life and walking with God, is something! (sesuatuh itu!). Never imagine how my life would be without HIM. Anyways, hopefully with a brand new start (again). I can give something to the world. To all of you!

Pho Pho Passed Away

My Pho Pho was 92 years old. I spent my entire life living with her. Pho pho used to wear kebaya, a blouse and kain batik. She likes it in bright colour. I still remember when I was still a little bratz, I pooped in my pants during nap, and I cried calling my mom (or was it Pho pho ya?), anyways, it was Pho Pho who clean it and calm me and wipe my tears away. Pho pho bathed me, feed me, buy clothes for me if she saw something pretty in Bangka. Pho pho likes to eat papaya, sometimes apple or pear and amazingly she can eat spicy food. Pho pho shares sweet fruits if she has any for us (my sister and me). I also remember Pho pho can drink beer during CNY night dinner. Talking about the cooking, before she was 85 she can cook very well, I love her tempe orek (cutted into cubes, tomatos, & a little bit spice). My mom also admit that Pho pho cook very well in her younger age.

Pho pho was not a lazy-like to gamble kind of grandma. She loves dogs, she loves cleaning the house, she loves gardening, she loves to cook, she loves sewing, she does anything she can and haa no idle hands. What I miss most of her, she loves to joke around and laugh, she was very funny. She loves dankdut but lately she loved top 40 because Pho pho heard the songs on the radio and play it out loud while sitting in the kitchen or in the living room. It was pho pho who fed the dog, bathe 'em, it was Pho pho who found Moli Mona, and I bet, they miss Pho pho too.

Every step that I take in my home reminds me of Pho pho. I am happy and grateful that I know her and have her as my grandma.

God knows her well, I and my family believes, She deserve a good place with Jesus, whatever her religion.

Some that I learn from this: that no matter how angry you are (which already a sin), no matter stubborn the person you talk with, he/she doesn't deserve your anger, instead all they want is just to be loved. So, use your mouth carefuly, choose your words wisely, be patient (I know this is hard), hear rather than talk, forgive, and most important just love... Love everyone.

Now my knowledge has been added by God, how He taught us the best thing and that we shall do in this life.

I miss you Pho Pho, you will be safe with Jesus. We will meet again, if God allows.
